Following are various testimonies from parents of our past and present students.

Jake Foo, K1- K2, 2019 to 2020 and currently with “Brain Mastery Basic for Lower Primary”

The following testimonies were provided by Jake’s mother after 2 terms with Brain Mastery classes in 2019 when he was in K1.

“Before Brain Mastery class, Jake was not confident in front of strangers and dared not to talk to them. He would also choose to be quiet when meeting new people.

Now, not only Jake is confident in speaking to people he newly meet, he is also also comfortable with strangers. I also noticed that his thought flow, motor and communication skills have improved greatly.”

After attending the Brain Mastery BrainXpansion Holiday Camp (June 2019), this is the feedback we received:

“Do u know Jake was so happy that he keep asking if we are going to send him to Teacher Vivienne and Teacher Ying’s Holiday Camp again? So I am definitely to send him in the next camp.”

Jake continued to progress at K2 level in 2020 , such that Mrs Foo wrote to us in June 2020:

“He talk more specific, more detail, able to ask us where and why. Super good memory.

I didn’t even teach him. I ask him who teach him. He say Brain Mastery.

My hard earned money well spent.

Jake continues his Brain Mastery journey, since 2021, after leaving pre-school. He is currently attending “Brain Mastery Basic for Lower Primary” as a primary 2 student.

Leanne Liao, K1 – K2, 2017 to 2018 and currently with “Brain Mastery Basic for Lower Primary”

“After the 1st 3 months on the program, Leanne’s concentration span and ability to focus saw visible improvement. As a parent, it felt easier to teach her to read and it wasn’t too much struggle in getting her to complete the weekend homework from school on her own without supervision by the 5th month. It’s not easy trying to teach a 5-year old to focus and concentrate and this program definitely triggered something in her and helped. It’s also Leanne’s favourite enrichment class that she looks forward to it every week.

Now, in the 3rd consecutive term being in the Brain Mastery program, I do see continuous improvement in Leanne’s ability to focus particularly when learning new things or even listening to instructions, where she does seem to pick up things faster.

The stick problem solving exercises done in Term 3 was particularly fun and enjoyable for her and i do feel that the exercise helped train her to think out of the box and increase her ability to find solutions independently. Most visible in how she thinks and find ways to solve her own play problems or get herself out of everyday trouble at home. One example was I gave a dollar each to Leanne and her sister and the ride she wanted required $2 and i refused to give anymore. She found the solution by convincing her sister combine to make $2 and both can share a ride.”

Max Chiu, K1, 2020

We observed that our son cannot focus for long periods and hence, we decided to put him through Brain Mastery class. The teachers are very patient, encouraging to the kids and take the initiative to engage with parents. We are glad whenever he says he enjoys the lessons. His attention span is longer than before. 🙂

Faith Lee, K1 – K2, 2017 to 2018

BrainXpansion’s Brain Mastery is definitely one enrichment lesson that Faith enjoys very much and is always looking forward to attending the weekly lessons. She enjoys the activities so much that she would eagerly share with us what she had learnt from each session. Interesting activities she has shared includes the hand coordination with the Yipiyaya song and optical illusions that visually stimulates them to view pictures with different perspectives. We have seen an improvement in Faith’s concentration level. BrainXpansion uses the colour charts to assess a student’s focus and concentration level. I’m happy that Faith can see 3 complementary colours after 2 terms with BrainXpansion. I will definitely recommend Brain Mastery program to friends.

Matthew Tang, K1, 2019

Yesterday, I was very surprised that my son, Matthew, could solve a difficult puzzle that requires spatial thinking. I notice that after taking the class for now a year or so, he has very interesting perspectives and is beginning more and more to be able to see things that are not apparent immediately. It’s like suddenly all the learnings/trainings he has had is now starting to become visible 🙂 Thanks, teachers!

Hannah Wong, P3, 2018

Sunny Hwang, a parent to primary school student, Hannah Wong, said “Hannah tried to memorise 30 words that her uncle gave and she got that all right in 1 minute. Backwards too… Amazing thing is she actually change her attitude towards her study ever since

Elizebeth Rose Lim, K1 – K2, 2017 to 2018

My daughter has been attending Brain Mastery enrichment program for the last 2 terms. This whole brain development program is very good for Elizabeth and other children. Previously, she tends to shy away from difficult tasks, now she is much more opened to attempt new things. I would attribute the change to the activities and games that Elizabeth is exposed to. She is now very enthusiastic to play complex puzzles that require her to use both creative and logical thinking to solve the problem. Like other parents in her class, I agreed that the puzzles are not easy at all. It took me a while to figure the solution out too.

I like that my child is taught to think, and that the teachers guide her by asking her non-leading questions and not simply spoon feed her with step-by-step solutions. On top of that, I discovered that she is learning to create linkage between unrelated items, and some of her stories were really creative. It is no wonder Elle got the stars that her teachers rewarded her.

Elizabeth loves her class and she is happy to be there. Thank you Teacher Vivienne and Calvin for the encouragement, support and weekly updates. I would recommend parents to enrol their children to the Brain Mastery program.

Jessica William, K1 – K2, 2017 to 2018

Jessica has been attending Brain Mastery program throughout her pre-school and continues to attend our Primary School classes at our Cuppage Center school.

Jessica is my eldest girl, and she likes to set a good example to her young siblings. So she is always mindful not to give the wrong answer. Yet that also mean she would keep quiet and not say anything when she doesn’t know the answer.

In less than 12 weeks with Brain Mastery, I saw a change. Now, when she encounters a difficult task, she is more ready to give it a try. In fact, she is more enthusiastic to volunteer an answer without been pushedI also found that she is better at thinking creatively and logically; I believe it is due to some of the very complex games the children are playing in class.  I wouldn’t think that 5 – 6 years old could manage such games and activities. The fact that the teachers guided her and her classmates to think rather than feeding them the answers is very good, will groom them to be more creative at problem solving.

My daughter likes the Brain Mastery class very much, and would readily show me what she learned. And she is always very happy when she could overcome and achieve difficult tasks set by her teachers.
